City and forest orienteering in two Luxembourgs

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 20–22 June 2025

Fancy a weekend somewhere different?

Luxembourg Orienteering Club and SudOLux welcome you to three days of orienteering in neighbouring cities – and countries! The driving time between the two venues is below 30 minutes.

Friday – a city sprint race, taking place in Luxembourg’s Vieille Ville and the historic Grund and Pfaffenthal areas. Run in Vauban fortifications and by 21st century EU institutions. Be ready for complex route choices, steep climbs and narrow alleys – find out why Luxembourg is called “the Gibraltar of the North”.

Saturday and Sunday – a middle and long distances in the Forêt d'Anlier in the Belgium's Province de Luxembourg. We will run in mostly open continental forests with a medium-density path network, a medium visibility due to numerous vegetation features, and shallow hills.
