Meet at |
On the bike path PC2, near Senningerberg / airport highway exit towards Niederanven, from the junction rue du golf / route de trêves, go north into the wood ! You may come by bike or by public transport with: - Tram stop "Héienhaff" or bus stop "Héienhaff" (lines 6 and 16) - there is a possiblity to cross the highway interchange on one side of the N1 road only (be careful). By car, you can park in the streets around the petrol station or at the P&R Héienhaff.

| Facilities |
None at all. We will be outdoors, in the forest. If you come by public transport or bike, your bags (and bikes) may be left safely while you are on the course. |

Start times |
10:00 until 12:00 or so. Controls will be removed from 14.00. |

Entries |
No fee – but, if you can, please try to sign up beforehand, by using the calendar in the Club Section (log-in needed) on the club website, or by telling orienteer@orienteering.lu that you are coming. Please do this no later than 14.00 on the day before (Satrurday), so we can print the right number of maps that afternoon, and have as many people as possible already set up in the timing system. Everyone is welcome, not just club members. Help and explanations will gladly be provided for beginners. |

Start and finish are both within 50 metres of the meeting point. |

Format |
Three courses: Squirrel – 2 km straight line – technically easy, suitable for beginners, older children, and accompanied young children. The course follows tracks and paths. Rabbit – 4 km straight line – technically easy-medium, suitable for those with a little experience. The course follows tracks and paths. Deer – 6.5 km. straight line – technically medium, suitable for those with a more experience and willing to stay longer in the forest. The course follows tracks and paths. Flags are 15cm kites. |

Timing |
“Punching” using SPORTident (SIAC enabled). Bring your SI “dibber” if you have one, but if not, you are welcome to borrow one of the club’s. Results will be published. |

Map |
1:7'500 for the Squirrel and the Rabbit, 1:10'000 for the Deer. Not an official ISOM maps (LiDAR-based mapping), 5 metre contours. The (many) forestry tracks are mapped as symbol 508 "Narrow ride or linear trace through the terrain". |

Terrain |
Forest, with many tracks, and some climb for the Deer course. Don't forget that we are NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE PATHS. If you do, we might get into trouble. |
