| Start times | 18.45until 19.30or so. |
| Entries | No fee – but please let info@orienteering.lu know at least a day in advance if you plan to come,and are nota LuxOC Club member. |
| Start point | Start and finish are both at the meeting point. |
| Format |
Two courses, both only for adults
Controls must be visited in the order set. Flags are 15cm kites –“punching” using crocodile pin punches. |
| Map | 1:7,500, ISSOM like. And –for the first timeever–5 metre contours! Laser printed, on Pertex semi-waterproof paper. |
| Terrain | Residential urban streets, training shoes optimal. Reasonably well lit -torch or small headlamp helpful, but not essential. |
| Safety | Everyone takes part entirely at theirown risk. Please take great care, especially on the more main roads. Reflective or white clothing recommended. The run (but not the Christmas Party) will be postponedif there is lying snow, or verglas, forecast 24 hours in advance. |
| Social evening | Club members – please stay after the run for our Christmas Party, and discussions – much food and drink will be provided, but any contributions in kind would be much appreciated. Changing space – and even showers (bring a towel) – available. |
