Who are we?

Luxembourg Orienteering Club asbl was formed in April 2016. We are the first official orienteering club in Luxembourg, and our aim is to encourage participation in the sport of orienteering in Luxembourg.

We already have around fourty members, We share information about forthcoming orienteering events organised by other orienteering clubs in the Grande Region, and travel together or meet at these events. Also, this year we will get together regularly every two or three weeks, to enjoy some orienteering training in the forests and parks around Luxembourg Ville. Our training includes easy, fun racing for children.

We meet socially every 6-8 weeks. Most of our members have moved to Luxembourg from other countries, and some have many years of experience in the sport.

We organised our own first formal orienteering event – the Luxembourg City Race – in November 2017, with over 300 participants. We hope to hold another major event in October 2018.
