This event is also the Luxembourg OC 2024 Club Championships.

If you are unfamiliar with the O’Punch entries system, or need help, write to orienteer@orienteering.lu. Please ignore the information about entry fees that is shown in O’Punch. The LuxOC Board has now confirmed that any LuxOC member entering any event in the O2LUX series may take part without having to pay any entry fee - the annual Club membership fee covers this!

IMPORTANT - If you want to be part of the Club Championships and are in age class H/D16- or older, please sign up for Course 2. Or sign up for Course 1, but recognise that you will be running further than your rivals, and adjustment for the Championships result will only be made for the extra distance, not the extra effort! If you are in age class H/D14- or younger, please sign up for Course 3.

Start point

Start and finish will both be within 50 metres of the meeting point.

Format

Three courses:

Course 1 - Long technical - 7 to 8 km optimum route (to be confirmed)
Course 2 – Shorter technical - 4 to 5 km optimum route (to be confirmed)
Course 3 – For beginners – optimum route 3 km

Flags are 15cm kites – timing at each control using SPORTident (SIAC enabled). Bring your own SI timing chip if you can, but if not, you can borrow a LuxOC one.

Terrain

Mostly residential urban streets, but more complex park and campus terrain in parts. Training shoes with some grip optimal.

Safety

Everyone takes part entirely at their own risk. Please take great care, especially on or crossing the more main roads. You must comply with the Code de la Route at all times and run on pavements wherever possible.
