The Czech contingent of Ondra, Míša and Jan would like to propose to LuxOC members a summer treat in the form of a five-day race around Špindlerův Mlýn in the Giant Mountains (or Krkonoše in the local lingo), the country’s highest mountain range, Aug. 7-11. Even by Czech standards where there is a three- or five- day event every week of the summer holidays, this o-adventure race will be something special. Expect massive elevation (up AND down), magnificent views and that Czech staple, a beer relay. Please check out the event’s Web site and let us know if you would like to join us. We will take care of booking accommodation (campsite or chalet, depending on who signs up), guide you through the registration process, and will be happy to pick you up at the Prague airport and drive your around should you decide to fly. The number of participants is capped at 2,000 and the capacity if filling up fast; please let us know at your earliest convenience if you’re in.
