The idea of organizing a training weekend abroad has now firmly taken hold after we were forced to abandon it in April 2020 due to COVID. Our first ever
training camp will be organized on 27-28 April near Homburg, Germany, over an hour away from Luxembourg. We aim for two sessions a day – morning and afternoon - to help newcomers and beginners to familiarize themselves with the map and various orienteering techniques, but will also offer ample training opportunities to more
experienced runners.
The accommodation reserved is at capacity. Unfortunately, the accommodation we found is not very large and was quickly filled. So if there would be demand, there are options a bit further away in a youth hostel in Saarbrucken or in the hotels in Homburg, and to join for the trainings.
We arrive on Friday evening for those who can or Saturday morning for the others. There will be two trainings on each day, on a map next to Homburg.
Details will come in the week preceding the weekend.

We are a new team in Uganda Orienteering Federation we are interested in participating in your event so that we can learn first hand how Orienteering sport is conducted.
Looking forward to your positive response.
Thanks.
