Urban evening run & EGM in Kirchberg

Yesterday evening marked the final chapter of our terrace-based orienteering events in Kirchberg. What began with World Orienteering Day in 2019, continued with WOD 2022 and a LuxSUL stage in June last year, concluded with a cozy “goodbye” race starting – once last time – from Orsi’s terrace.

Eighteen runners (including two “brand new” members) took part in this informal evening run, with most “Deer” runners complaining about the climb. Huge thanks to Julien for updating the map again and designing the courses, and to David for his help with control placement and timing.

After the race, we held a very successful and friendly Extraordinary General Meeting in our (now emptied) living room. Our new club Statutes were finally approved – unanimously and without objections.
